What happens in the arctic doesn't stay in the Arctic. The unprecedented rate of Arctic change has global implications for our environment, economies and societies. We are a team of Arctic experts and scientists. We know that Arctic change is at a critical juncture, and hard choices need to be made.
So for the last 3 years we brought the Arctic to the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum at Davos. All scientists volunteer their time. We set up a real Arctic science basecamp and camp in sub-zero temperatures to bring a message of global risk to world leaders at the World Economic Forum. We kick-start innovative policy decisions to find real-world global solutions.
We are now fundraising to continue Arctic Basecamp for the next 5 years.
